We've tested plenty of electric motorcycles over the years here at MO. In the process, we've been able to witness firsthand how rapidly e-bikes have evolved. Through it all, however, we get asked the same questions over and over: 1. How far will it go on a charge? and 2. How long will it take to...

Monumental! That's what this is. MO's first electric vs. gas, head-to-head supermoto comparison. A bare-knuckle brawl between the embedded establishment and the harbinger of an electrified future. Few other motorcycle companies have made bigger strides in a shorter time than Zero. When we rode first-generation bikes back in 2007, they were crude and needed lots of improvements before they could be taken seriously. And improve they did—dramatically. We were impressed with the 2013 S model...

The electric revolution continues. The new R version of the Zero S offers riders 56 percent higher torque and 24 percent more power—106 pound-feet and 67 horses—and means the Zero SR can hit 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and 102 mph, according to Zero. Which is impressive enough on paper, but even more...

Zero Motorcycles has started production of its 2015 model lineup, Including the S and SR streetfighters and DS and FX dual-sports. The 2015 lineup promises increased range – now up to 185 mph on a single charge – and for the first time on full production electric motorcycles, anti-lock brakes....
