It was a pack of five that flashed across the finish line with 17-year-old Dutchman Scott Deroue fourth and Diego Perez, the 15 year old Spaniard, completing the group. A fabulous battle as Hanika had to fight for every corner despite being a second quicker than anyone in qualifying and winning...

Pagliani stole victory from fellow Italian Stefano Manzi on the run into the line at Misano to take his first Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup victory. The 17-year-old has ridden superbly since the beginning of this, his first Cup season and had already been second three times. It looked to be going...

Hanika and Pagliani touched as they climbed the rise into the last section but both stayed upright and Martín was third ahead Joe Roberts who had shared the battle for the lead for most of the race but fell back in the closing stages. The 16-year-old Californian missed out on the podium but went...

Hanika, the 17-year-old Czech, dominated both of the pre-season tests at Jerez and certainly goes back as favourite but, as he found out in the first race in the US, form counts for little when the lights go out. He set off from pole but had no answer to Ray's speed once the 15-year-old Briton...

The British GP weekend started perfectly for the 17-year-old Czech, who set off from pole position, but none of his wins have been easy and this was no exception. Though it was Spanish 15-year-olds Diego Perez and Marcos Ramirez who finally joined him on the podium, they had not looked his...

Czech 17-year-old Karel Hanika leads the title chase by an impressive 72 points from Spanish 15-year-old Jorge Martín but, as Silverstone's dramatic races demonstrated two weeks ago, nothing is a foregone conclusion. Hanika is of course favourite to take the Cup, either here or at the final...
